Kiho Kang. (born in Korea 1980) got a ceramic education at the Kookmin University then came to Germany on a bursary to acquire himself further. At the Fachhochschule he became a pupil of Fritz Rossmann who was teaching there. Germany was good for Kiho Kang he got one prestigious prize after the other and now he has settled in the region, in the town Bad-Ems.
Characteristic for his work is the way he prepares the porcelain clay body with which he hand builds his objects very slowly. Austere vessels with a constructivist character of strong design and only glazed at the inside. On the Dutch version of this page you’ll find works in stock.
