Yasuyo Nishida (Jp) finished her study at the ceramics department of the Musashino Art University in Tokyo. On an exhibition in the Czech Republic several years later she met Vladimir Groh (Cz). Since 2005 they form the couple in porcelain Terravisio. Under the flag of this name they show their work on international exhibitions and fairs. We met them on the pottery market in Swalmen in 2013. They make attractive domestic and art pottery using mold casting techniques. Their decorations look as if applied with watercolour, this is a technique introduced by the Norwegian ceramist Arne Åse and is realised with chlorites and sulphites in stead of oxides. Other decorating techniques they use are surface relief and platina luster. Look on the dutch version of this page for works in stock.
