This summer, from June 15 to August 31 we will present a Summer Stock Show, a variety of ceramics made by a choice of participating potters. The show will be partly a follow up of the recently finished porcelain exhibition with the works of Nela Havlicková, Kiho Kang and Susanne Lukács-Ringel, partly it will show new work from some Dutch potters from the gallery such as Petri Voet with new decorated landscape bowls and some wall pieces, Marion Askjaer-Veld shows one of her big head sculptures which she made in 2005, ‘Evita’ she called it. See the pictures here above. The vessels in this photo are by Sybille Abel-Kremer. From Paulien Ploeger we will show some ceramic objects inspired on the Frisian landscape together with her domestic vessels all realized in saltglazed stoneware.
From Germany there are stoneware ceramics by Karin Schweikhard, Sybille Abel-Kremer and the colourful ‘capriccio’ ceramics by Elke Sada, we will also show a new selection of the decrated domestic ware from Maria Meyer & Ute Matschke. Totally new in our gallery is the presentation of wood fired stoneware with shino glazes by German potter Karl Heinz Till and also new is the figurative stoneware sculpture by Dagmar Langer from Karlsruhe.
This exhibition will be completed with some ceramics from France: 1 earthenware by Louise Gardelle as always sympaticly decorated with female figures; 2 from Vianney Duquesnoy a nice series of porcelain vessels with different celadon glazes; 3 a selection of works from our private collection.
